NHL Trade Deadline ‘08
With today being the last day for trades in the NHL, you might want to keep a close eye on today's website, from NHL.com. Many teams are looking for that last minute deal, so you never know what might happen!

The site is not perfectly up-to-date, but it is pretty close. I found that my local newspaper had the news of Brian Campbell being traded to the San Jose Sharks a lot quicker! Have fun watching the trades.

The Animal Rescue Site
animal rescue site
Are you an animal lover? If so, I hope you make today's website a daily site to visit. By clicking on a button on the site, you help get food to animals! The Animal Rescue Site has created an online charity that takes money they earn from advertisers and buys food for animals. 100% of the money they make goes to the charity. It looks like you can only click 1 time a day, so add it to your list of daily visited websites...it will only take 5 seconds to do it every day!

Hema
hema
I received an email last week with a link to Hema, a Dutch department store. The page shows items that would be sold in the store, but they have been animated on the website to interact with each other. Every time something happens to 1 of the items, some other reaction will happen to another item on the page. What is occurring on the page reminds me of the old board game I used to play, Mousetrap. It does not look like you can make any purchases on the website (since the site is in Dutch, I could not read any of the content to find the online store area), but it is still a lot of fun to watch and is worth checking out!

2008 Superbowl Commercials
Yesterday I decided to discuss the outcome of the super bowl. Today, I am going to talk about what most people look forward to...the commercials! For a 30 second spot this year, it cost a company 2.7 million dollars. For that price, every commercial should be perfect! While a few of them were a disappointment to me, a lot of them caught my eye and made me laugh. I think my favorite commercial this year has to be the Doritos where the guy uses a Dorito on a mouse trap. What happened was very unexpected and was ridiculously funny!

If you want to see a commercial someone is talking about, one you missed, or just want to replay your favorite, check out today's website. Myspace.com has done a nice job organizing them and letting you watch them on their faux television.
